Genesis

KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SILVASSA was established in 2000 (on 12-08-2000) under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education. KV Silvassa is sponsored by the Administration of UT of Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu. It is dedicated to shape up the mind of young ones at par with the National and International Standard of Learning. It was started with Primary Section and now it has been raised up to XII Standard. The Vidyalaya is located in the heart of the City and has been provided with 2 acres of land by the UT Government. It is a Co-educational institution and English is the medium of instruction. The Vidyalaya has 26 classrooms, a playground, a library with more than 4220 books and its academic session starts on 1st April. This Vidyalaya is approachable by all weather roads.
